Si svolge al Museo di Storia Naturale del Mediterraneo di Livorno dalle ore 9,15 il convegno “Le competenze per il lavoro e la competitività nella filiera nautica”, promosso da Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo in occasione dell'anno Europeo delle competenze, lanciato dalla Commissione Europea a maggio, per declinare sul territorio la riflessione sulle nuove competenze richieste dal mercato del lavoro in un settore portante dell’economia. Il progetto Erasmus+ “MaQuaM”, di cui la società è capofila, infatti definisce un nuovo percorso professionale per aggiornare e qualificare le risorse umane in risposta ai nuovi bisogni della nautica, in un segmento di mercato in forte crescita quale quello legato agli yacht e superyacht. Un’esigenza condivisa da vari paesi del Mediterraneo, la meta più frequente di queste imbarcazioni e di passeggeri che richiedono una gamma di servizi specialistici e diversificati. Per questo il progetto viene attuato a livello transnazionale col contributo dei partner Navigo (Viareggio, Italia), Mediterranean Tourism Foundation (Malta), Strategis – Centro di eccellenza Marittima (Grecia), Fondazione Ibis (Albania), che portano le esigenze dei rispettivi territori dove viene sviluppato. The conference "The skills for the labor market and the competitiveness in the boating sector" will take place at the Mediterranean Natural History Museum in Livorno from 9.15 am, promoted by Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo on the occasion of the European year of skills, launched by the European Commission in May, to spread the reflection on the new skills required by the labor market in a key sector of the economy on the territory. The Erasmus+ "MaQuaM" project, of which the company is the leader, in fact defines a new professional path to update and qualify human resources in response to the new needs of the boating sector, in a rapidly growing market segment such as that linked to yachts and superyachts. A need shared by various Mediterranean countries, the most frequent destination for these boats and passengers who require a range of specialized and diversified services. For this reason, the project is implemented on a transnational level with the contribution of the partners Navigo (Viareggio, Italy), Mediterranean Tourism Foundation (Malta), Strategis - Center of Maritime Excellence (Greece), Ibis Foundation (Albania), who bring the needs of their respective territories where it is developed.
